Who teaches your class

Led by Michael Francischelli,
built by people who've been there.

Michael and the 2nd Breath team have certified more than 300 personnel for U.S. federal missions and international partners, from the U.S. Embassy and DEA in Paraguay, to the Peace Corps, to Paraguay's Public Ministry Forensic Laboratory and SENAD. We bring that operational rigor home to Tampa Bay.

Three reasons it matters who teaches you

Real responders.
Recognized cards. Real impact.

01

Career responders, not lecturers

Our instructors are working firefighters, EMTs, and first responders. They've performed CPR in real homes, real cars, real emergencies, and they teach the small details that only come from the field.

02

Recognized, verifiable certification

Triple-body certified instructors: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Medic First Aid. We can issue whichever card your job actually requires, all from a curriculum aligned with current AHA ECC Guidelines. Every card is verifiable through the issuing provider.

03

Your class helps others

A portion of every class supports local charities and ministries. Learning to save a life with us also helps the people who need help most.

Before you book

Common questions.

Where does my class actually happen?
Group classes are held at our Tampa Bay classroom venue. We confirm the exact address when your class is scheduled. Private 1-on-1 sessions come to you, anywhere convenient in Tampa Bay. Onsite group training at your office, church, or school is a custom quote.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel at least 3 weeks (21+ days) before class. 50% refund between 2 and 3 weeks (14–20 days) before. No refund inside 2 weeks (under 14 days). You can still transfer your seat to a future class within 60 days at no charge, no questions asked.
Which certification card should I get?
Every student gets a digital completion card included, sufficient for most personal and corporate use. Optional physical cards at checkout: AHA card ($35) for healthcare, FL school coaches, and most regulated roles · MEDIC First Aid card ($30) for OSHA workplace and childcare · 2nd Breath branded card ($8) for personal awareness and in-house corporate. See the FAQ for which card maps to which job.
How long is the class?
CPR is about 2 hours; First Aid, CPR & AED is about 4 hours. Both include in-person hands-on practice with real manikins and AED trainers, a written knowledge check, and a final skills evaluation. Most students leave the same day with a verifiable completion card.
