2nd Breath CPR

Our promise

You leave more
confident.
Or your money back.

The point of the class is not the card. It is what happens in the minutes between someone collapsing and the ambulance arriving.

The confidence guarantee

Walk out measurably more confident, or don't pay.

You leave measurably more confident and measurably more skilled in saving lives after you leave the class. If you don't, you get your money back. We do not certify you unless you are confident that you experienced the value of the course.

The heart behind the training is to get people confident. That comes from confident instructors who live and breathe health and safety, from First Aid and CPR training all the way to having applied the skills in the real world: on the job, off the job, at home, down the street, and everywhere else life takes someone.

We train you to feel confident in emergency situations when seconds matter. That is the difference between us and traditional training.

Why confidence matters more than the card

It's not about the card.

It's about the 8, 20, 40, sometimes 60 minutes before the ambulance pulls up. Even in a city. Even with a firehouse down the street, because that crew is already on another call.

Someone has to act first. It's going to be you.

We just make sure you're ready. We make you confident!

Why seconds count

  • Cardiac arrest: survival drops roughly 10% for every minute without CPR or a defibrillator.
  • Choking: a fully blocked airway means no oxygen at all. Unconsciousness in 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Brain damage: begins around 4 to 6 minutes without oxygen. After 8 to 10 minutes, brain damage is considered irreversible.
  • Anaphylaxis: the airway can swell shut in 5 to 15 minutes. Epinephrine has to come from someone standing there.
  • Average EMS response: 7 to 14 minutes in most U.S. cities (longer when crews are busy on other emergencies). Rural and industrial sites: 20 to 60+ minutes.

The math is simple. The ambulance is not coming fast enough to be the answer. You are the answer until it gets there, and this class makes sure you know what to do with those minutes. We make you confident!

Three things every student takes home

What "more confident" actually looks like.

01

The instinct to act

You'll leave with the reflex to move first, call for help, and start compressions without the split-second hesitation that costs lives.

02

The mechanics that work under pressure

Body positioning, rhythm, breathing, coaching a bystander through it: the small details that separate a technically-correct card from a life actually saved.

03

The clarity of knowing you can

You will look at the manikin at the end of your class and know, without doubt, that you could do this on a person. That is what we send you home with.
