This class
Curriculum
The full HeartSaver-equivalent skill set for lay rescuers, taught in the same order you'd use it in a real emergency. Practice on adult, child, and infant manikins, plus AED trainer rotation through the whole class.
High-quality chest compressions
Correct depth, rate, recoil. The single highest-impact skill we teach.
Rescue breathing
With a barrier device, with a pocket mask, or hands-only when needed.
AED use
Adult, child, and infant pads. Pad placement, shock decision, CPR cycles.
Choking response
Adult, child, and infant. Conscious and unconscious victim.
Recovery position
For breathing-but-unresponsive patients while EMS arrives.
Activating EMS
When to call 911, what to say, how to direct bystanders.
How the class works
No long lectures. We move from concept to hands-on quickly, so you spend most of the class actually practicing what saves a life.
01
Hands-on skills practice
At our Tampa Bay venue. Real manikins, real AED trainers, real-time feedback as you work through each skill.
02
Written knowledge check
Multiple-choice. Open to ask the instructor questions. Tests understanding, not memorization.
03
Final skills evaluation
Demonstrate compressions, AED, and choking response. Pass and you're done same day.
Digital completion card issued same day on a successful skills check. Optional physical card upgrades available at checkout. See your options.

New parents, grandparents, anyone with a child or aging family member at home.
Independent or agency. Pediatric-focused practice included.
Ushers, greeters, children's-ministry teams: the first hands on the scene in a sanctuary emergency.
Scouts, neighborhood associations, sports leagues, volunteer organizations.
Office teams that want everyone trained, not just the safety officer.
No prerequisite. No prior experience needed. Open to ages 12+.
Healthcare professionals (BLS Provider), childcare staff (Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED), and FL school athletic coaches have specific certification requirements. We expect to offer those courses in Phase 2. In the meantime, contact us to discuss whether this class meets your specific employer requirement.
